We’ve all been aware of the seven exact squares of Uranus and Pluto from 2012-2015. Yesterday we got a major example of a worst case of what this aspect can mean. Just at the time that the Uranus-Pluto square was becoming exact, a devastating tornado hit the town of Moore, OK, destroying many houses, an elementary school and a medical center that had just recently been completed. Pluto in the Fourth House marked the suffering of families as the wreckage was explored for survivors. Uranus in the Seventh House indicates that all focus was “other directed”, with thousands working together to help whomever could be saved. In the chart for when the event was starting, Vesta (asteroid of hearth and home) was in the Tenth House, being opposed by Pluto and squared by Uranus. No home was safe, not even the modern, brick school building. It may be a realization that hits this generation, that because of increased storms (both weather and financial) no home is safe, and this could be a foreshadowing of further upheavals, particularly with increased tornado risks in the Midwest.. The Moon entering Libra indicates the support that will be given to the suffering. A further marker of suffering could be Jupiter on the Midheaven sextile Eris, planet of discord. Jupiter, planet of success, might in this case suggest all of our tendencies to have the false sense of security that thinks, “It can’t happen here.” Eris in sextile is sending a message that “It IS happening here,” and the message is further accentuated by having Mars at the midpoint, semi-sextile both planets and the Midheaven. Mars trine the Ascendant could serve as a warning this this is a time for action and not just reaction.
