The Sun moves into Cancer and helps form a Grand Trine in Water, with Neptune and Saturn. It looks like a period of good-feeling. However, there is a question as to whether this will be a time of success and advancement. It appears that this chart has a void-of-course Moon, if you go by the standard teachings of Ptolemy that the Moon is not making a major aspect to any planet before leaving the sign. The Moon in late Scorpio is applying to a quincunx to Jupiter and a trine to Ceres. Yet, Ptolemy did not recognize the quincunx as a major aspect, and dwarf planet Ceres had not been discovered in his day. If we go by the rules of Ptolemy, then this Summer may not be a time for making plans or starting new projects. If we bend the rules, then the Moon quincunx Jupiter may involve some emotional coaxing to help spread the wealth. The Moon trine Ceres may bring successful plans for nurturing and providing comfort to the needy. We would be interested in hearing from others as to whether they consider the Moon to be void-of-course or not.
