Sun in Virgo

In Astrology for the Light Side of the Brain,  Kim Rogers-Gallagher writes about Virgo: “Virgo is all about discrimination, and knows very well what’s important and what’s not. Virgo’s half of the mental process was explained to me by Michael, a dear Virgo friend. Virgo, he said, needed to be ‘picky’ (his word, not mine–honest),  about what they became involved in ‘because not everything warrants our attention.’  Now, he was speaking strictly of his Sun-sign, but this one sentence did more to explain Virgo-to me, at least–than anything I’d ever read. Virgo is mutable earth and it’s feminine. It’s adaptable, practical, and responsive. Yes, and picky–like he said. Because it has to be. Virgo can’t waste time on the uninteresting–so it specializes in spotting the uninteresting fast. It’s good at noticing details. The trees, rather than the forest. The fine print. The lint. And that run in your stocking.”
